Colin McKay PAT Testing Services
I provide a professional and friendly Portable Appliance Testing Services for all types of business and domestic customers.
My testing services are aligned to meet the requirements laid down in the IEE code of practice.
I have my City & Guilds 2377 qualifications for the management and the inspection and testing of electrical appliances.
I offer a comprehensive range of services, at competitive prices, and can test from just a few items, to large businesses that have many items that need testing.
The PAT Testing equipment, test meters, and software used for inspection and testing are top of the range products and have full calibration certificates issued.
Documentation of the results of testing will be provided using a professional software package and can be supplied to customers either electronically in excel or word format. Paper based reports can be produced to meet any specific requirements that a customer may ask for. Safety certificates and records of re-test dates can also be supplied. The software package can also upload information to the Pat testing equipment of previous stored test results, such as item descriptions, locations and asset numbers, so re- inspection is carried out in an efficient way.
I also include as part of my service all pass and fail labels, free microwave leakage tests and in providing minor electrical repairs to items that fail inspection, this includes (replacing damaged plugs, fuse replacement and connections in plugs re-terminated).
